ABOUT US

 We offer one-to-one lessons in

PIANO, GUITAR, UKULELE, BASS,

TRUMPET, CLARINET and SINGING.

Our students attend a weekly 30 minute lesson

on site in our teaching studios.

A wide range of musical styles and methods are available to learn, including RCM exam prep, music theory, praise and worship, rock band, musical theatre, pop, jazz and more.

We have great teachers with an extensive range of experience and skills, who love kids and are keen to work with all levels of abilityincluding students with special needs.

Opportunities are provided to participate in performance events  throughout the year including recitals, in-school events, talent shows, and more.

SCHEDULING LESSONS

We connect with home room teachers for approval of  lesson scheduling for each student, and always aim to avoid booking lessons during core academic subjects.

If you have a specific schedule request for your child, please let us know at time of registration.

Once we have confirmed a weekly lesson time for your child, we will connect you with their music instructor.

We have a high volume of students to fit into the weekly schedule, so we do appreciate your patience.

PAYING FOR LESSONS

Please connect with your child's instructor  to arrange payment for lessons.

Lesson fees are $30 per week.

Students can expect a total of 25 to 30 lessons throughout the school year.

Fees are due at the first lesson.

STUDIO POLICIES

  • Students are expected to attend weekly lessons unless otherwise arranged.

  • Payment is due on the first lesson day and should be arranged directly with the teacher for e-transfer setup or other modes of payment.

  • Fees are $30 per half hour lesson.

  • If a student is ill or will be absent on lesson day, please contact their instructor before the lesson whenever possible.

  • No-show or missed lessons will not be refunded, but a make-up time may be scheduled with your instructor.

  • Special school events may interrupt lesson times, so if your child misses their lesson due to a field trip or assembly, there is no charge.

  • Late payment may result in the pause of lessons until fees are caught up.  Kindly remember that music lessons are a teacher’s family income.

  •  2 weeks notice is required to cancel a student's enrolment, and fees will be retained for all lessons booked up to the point of withdrawal.

  •  Students are encouraged to arrive on their own for their lesson time.  Younger students may need help to find their way, so their instructor will come to get them if necessary.

  • Parents should keep contact with the music instructor and follow up with any questions about home practice assignments from week to week.

  • Should you have any concerns about your child's music lesson experience, please contact the Studio Manager:

        Charlotte Loeppky at 403-863-5754.

 HEALTH AND WELLNESS

  •  We aim to keep our studios clean and healthy spaces where learning music is pleasant and inspiring.  Students and instructors are expected to respect one another at all times, and the use of shared spaces, instruments and studio supplies.

  •  Hand sanitizer is provided and hand-washing before and after lessons is encouraged!  Shared surfaces are cleaned regularly.

  •  Students or instructors with symptoms of illness, such as a fever, cough or runny nose should not enter the music studios.  If an instructor is sick, a sub will be called in, or the lesson rescheduled or cancelled with no charges.

  •  Learning music can (and should) be a lot of fun!  Our instructors work diligently to provide a positive learning environment for your child.  If your child has any special needs that we should know about, be sure to contact their instructor with any relevant information.  We can adapt our lesson approaches to fit each individual child.
