Margo enjoyed taking piano lessons in Grade 1 and studied with the same teacher all the way to Grade 10 Royal Conservatory. She enjoyed playing in recitals and Kiwanis Music Festivals in Ontario. She did her B.A., B.Ed. degree at Queens University and Queen's Faculty of Education. In Calgary, Ms. Morris has taught classroom music for the last 25+ years in three different schools ranging from the JK level to Grade 5. She also taught private piano lessons in her home and at TCS. Ms. Morris retired as the music teacher (K-4) from T.C.S. in 2022.
Margo has a structured approach to teaching piano and likes to include technique and theory alongside the lesson books to reinforce new skills and concepts. She believes that lessons should be fun and music should enrich the lives of our children! Ms. Morris loves to teach beginners and work with them for several years to build on that foundation and develop true musicianship with positive character qualities.
“Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants. I will proclaim the name of the Lord. Oh, praise the greatness of our GOD!” (Deut. 32: 2-3)

Harold Squire
Trumpet, Clarinet, Ukulele, Singing
Harold joined a band way back when he was in junior high. He chose the clarinet as his instrument, but quickly found out that he loved learning new instruments just as passionately. Today, he plays the trumpet, bohdran, tin whistle, and sings too. If an instrument uses wind to make sound, he's dabbled in it (yes, even bagpipes). Over the years he branched out to the string world, and regularly plays the ukulele and bass today as well.
Harold has taught music for almost a full 2 decades now, in Canada and India. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Theatre from the University of Calgary, and still enjoys learning new skills in and around the production of sound. He works at Imagine Theatre in sound engineering and design. He holds one CAT award for sound design.
Harold has performed in front of over 2 thousand people in the Canadian Badlands Passion Play portraying Andrew, and in previous years he played some of his instruments as part of the pit band. In 2018 he joined the Edmonton philharmonic chorus as a tenor in Bizet's Carmen.
Harold really loves passing on the curiosity and intrigue that has inspired him to perform and pursue a career in the arts to all his students.
